読んでみて
世界、後悔、死、家族、愛、赦し、歳をとること、結婚、お金、文化など、普遍的なテーマについて対話を通して見つめ直していく。毎週火曜日にモリー先生の家を訪れて行われた人生最後の授業の回想録。ALSの病状が進行し、徐々に弱々しくなっていくモリー先生との最後の日々は悲しくも勇敢であり、息を引き取る最後の瞬間まで人生の教師であったのだと思わせてくれる。
本書の英語について
文章や表現自体それほど難しくはないものの、病気や体調などを表す知らない語彙がちょこちょこ出てきた。TOEICで700点くらいの英語力があれば読めそう。難しい語彙のでてくる頻度はそれほど高くないので、調べながら読んだが、ストック
